McKinley 2-Day Workshop July 21, 22, 2018
This two-day indoor workshop (18 students maximum) will focus on creative underpainting methods by
utilizing various pastel and mixed media techniques. Beginning with Degas,
underpainting has become an intrinsic part of the pastel painting process. This
workshop will introduce some new creative techniques to those who are unfamiliar
and help to hone the skills of those already seasoned underpainting artists.
Emphasis will also be placed on how to take authority and orchestrate the visual
elements of design to communicate artistic intent. Analogies are the conductor of
the orchestra and director of a film. One has a score, the other a script, but both
control the players to produce the final performance.
Cancellation refunds available only until May 31, 2018. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ONLY PURCHASE ONE ITEM -- CHECK YOUR PAYPAL CART.
